Golfing in Fermanagh

The beautiful County of Fermanagh is a visitor’s paradise with wide stretches of island dotted Waterway and secluded bays surrounded by a patchwork of green fields, sift undulating hillsides and fresh forests.

Situated in the North West of Ireland, Fermanagh boasts one of the most uncongested lakes in Europe – Lough Erne. The Erne is made up of two channels, the lower and the upper Loughs. To discover the true character of the Erne, charter a cruiser from one of the many hire companies and meander your way through our Lakeland paradise.

Where the two Loughs meet stands the island town of Enniskillen, also known as the county town. Enniskillen shares close European links with Germany through a twinning relationship with Brackwede (a suburb of Bielefeld).

Fermanagh is renowned for its hospitality and this is apparent by the range of social events in the county, whether it is a traditional Irish reel in one of our cosy pubs or the modern pop and dance in our more lively Nite Clubs, Fermanagh has music to suit every soul.

Possible activities include: Cruising, Boat Trips & Day Hire; Activity & Leisure Centres, Cycling, Equestrian sports; Golf, Angling; Shopping; Canoeing; Caving; Outdoor activities; Painting; and Walking

The Kingfisher Cycle Trail offers over 300 miles(480km) of mapped and waymarked cycle route through the North West of Ireland. There’s no better way to discover this beautiful region than by bike on the Kingfisher Trail. Lakelands, mountains, coastal rides and canalside paths, the Kingfisher Trail has it all!
