Fermanagh District Council
The Council promotes healthy lifesyles through the development and provision of facilities and services which create opportunities to participate in sport and physical activity. This includes leisure and recreation facilities such as the Fermanagh Lakeland Forum (Enniskillen), Bawnacre Centre (Irvinestown), Castle Park Centre (Lisnaskea). The Centres provide a wide range of sports and recreation activities e.g. fitness and condition rooms, squash, badminton, swimming (at the Lakeland Forum), gymnastics, Tennis, bowling, soccer, rugby and GAA etc.
The Council also provides outdoor activities and / or accommodation through the Lough Melvin Holiday Centre (Garrison), Lakeland Canoe Centre (Enniskillen), Marble Arch Caves & Cuilcagh Mountain European Geopark (Marlbank), Ulster Lakeland Equestrian Centre Necarne (Irvinestown).
Voluntary clubs and Private Activity Providers
There are a number of voluntary local clubs and private activity providers who operate in Fermanagh offering a wide range of activities such as athletics, bowling, badminton, soccer, GAA, rugby, hockey, sailing, canoeing, skiing, mountaineering, hiking, cycling, fishing, table tennis, tennis, martial arts, swimming, rowing, badminton, motor sports etc.
Disability Sports NI (DSNI)
There is a number of opportunities for the disabled in Fermanagh, Disability Sports NI is the sporting organisation that is representative of the vast majority of Northern Ireland’s disability sports club’s and organisations.
