The disability sector in County Leitrim is fragmented, with many organisations offering services to people with disability. The main co-ordinating organisations with a focus on people with disabilities in Leitrim are:

A directory of support services for people with disabilities in County Leitrim was published in 2002. This directory was supported by Comhairle in partnership with LAPWD and County Leitrim Partnership. It includes a comprehensive description of such support services and reference copies are available in the Citizen’s Information Centre, Drumshanbo or Leitrim Libraries.
