Funding Role: The principal aim of the National Lottery Arts Fund is to achieve the maximum benefit for the general public through support for the arts projects which make an important and lasting difference to the quality of life in Northern Ireland. These include: music, drama, dance, visual arts, crafts, literature, film, arts centres and festivals.Lottery funds will be used across all art forms towards the funding of revenue projects, capital projects and equipment purchases. Lottery funds are also available for Feasibility Studies, Architectural Design Competitions, Films Finance and works of Public Art.
Policy: The widest possible range of organisations, whether amateur or professional may quality for Lottery funding. Individuals will not normally be eligible to apply for lottery funds.
Applications: Application forms will be forwarded on request by the Lottery Department. Groups must be based in Northern Ireland, but cross-border work can be considered for funding.
