Funding Role: The Arts Council of Northern Ireland is responsible for the formulation of policy and funding for the development and promotion of the arts, and advises central and local government on matters of public support for the arts. The Arts Council is organised into the following departments: Drama and Dance, Literature, Music and Opera, Visual Arts, Community Arts, Arts in Education, Traditional Arts, Arts Centres, Festivals. Advice and information on arts activities is available in addition to funding.
Policy: Annual awards are widely advertised each year and cover individual artists and groups. Application forms will be forwarded on request.

Cross-border relevance
Groups must be based in Northern Ireland, but cross-border work can be considered for funding.
